Provide support for the National Indigenous Critical Response Service (postvention), Thirrili

Operational support to Thirrili Ltd, operator of the National Indigenous Critical Response Service (NICRS), Department of the Prime Minister and Cabinet

As a technical adviser to the NICRS, HMA supported establishment and implementation of the new Indigenous postvention service. Key activities included:

  • preparation of organisational policies and procedures
  • development of a communication strategy
  • preparation of a theory of change and a program logic
  • development of an evaluation framework
  • preparation of a budget plan
  • analysis of coronial services data by jurisdiction
  • activity based costing, and
  • Value for Money assessment.

HMA’s operational support services to Thirrili were in place for the first four-year funding cycle of Thirrili Limited from 2017 to 2020.
