Stocktake and Environmental Scan of Interprofessional Learning in Simulated Learning Environments – Department of Health

The Commonwealth Department of Health engaged HMA to undertake an environmental scan and stocktake of interprofessional learning in simulated learning environments activity. The project focused on pre-vocational clinical training within Australian tertiary education institutions including placement activities in hospital environments, rural clinical schools and university departments of rural health.

Key tasks included:

• literature scan and scoping activities
• survey tool design and data collection
• case study site visits
• analysis and synthesis of findings, and
• preparation of a final report.

The project commenced in late March 2017 and was completed in December 2017.
