Darryn joined HMA in April 2018. He comes from a healthcare background having worked as a physiotherapist for a number of years.
During his tenure at HMA, he has worked across a range of health areas leading projects in mental health service design, activity based-costing of an Indigenous health service, eHealth evaluation, and aged care strategy.
Darryn has also made major contributions in the delivery of a service plan for a large metropolitan hospital, an evaluation of a community nursing program, and the design of a monitoring and evaluation framework for community-based aged care services.
Prior to joining HMA, Darryn worked as a physiotherapist for a number of years, which provided him with a sound understanding of the national healthcare system. Darryn has completed his Bachelor of Science (BSc) and Doctor of Physiotherapy (DPT) from the University of Melbourne and holds an MBA from Deakin University. Most recently he has completed a graduate certificate in analytics from RMIT.
