Deborah has over 16 years’ experience as a management consultant in the health sector.

Deborah has undertaken consulting projects for Federal and State / Territory health departments, tertiary hospitals, peak bodies and other non-government organisations in the Australian health space. She has project managed and worked on numerous consulting projects involving design and implementation of evaluation frameworks, review of governance and project management processes, hospital service planning and program development, stakeholder consultation, options development and workshop facilitation.

These projects have covered a number of health areas including cancer services, primary and acute health, wellness and health promotion, Indigenous health, mental health, pharmacy, and biotechnology.

Deborah joined HMA in March 2005. Prior to joining HMA, Deborah undertook a cancer research post-doctoral position in France (University of Paris XI), after completing a PhD in Molecular Genetics at the Peter MacCallum Cancer Centre in Melbourne. These experiences provided her with a comprehensive background in time management, data analysis and interpretation, and literature review.
