Emma joined HMA as an Associate Consultant in July 2015. Prior to this, Emma worked as a Data Officer for the National Heart Foundation, responsible for collection of data for national health programs. Emma has experience working in the not-for-profit sector, having held positions at several organisations within the health sector, including Nutrition Australia and the Australian Red Cross.
At HMA, Emma has supported the senior consulting team on projects across a range of health areas including mental health, building workforce capacity and Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander health. Through project work, she has developed skills in project management, literature review, qualitative and quantitative data analysis, survey design and distribution and consultation.
Emma completed a Bachelor of Food and Nutrition Sciences in 2015. She has completed units in health policy, health promotion and biomedical science and a placement within the Dietetics and Speech Pathology Department at the Epworth Rehabilitation Hospital. She also has a particular interest in Indigenous health, having specialised in this area during her Bachelor of Arts and dedicated time to volunteering in remote communities.
