Kaveesha Bodiyabadu
Senior Consultant
Kaveesha joined HMA in 2023 as a Senior Consultant. Previously, Kaveesha worked at the Kirby Institute as a Research Officer in their Surveillance and Evaluation Research Program, and as a Research Assistant at the Royal Women’s Hospital’s Centre for Women’s Infectious Diseases.
Kaveesha has a background in public health and epidemiology and her previous work has focused on communicable disease surveillance, clinical research, and the evaluation of a digital health platform in NSW.
During her time in these roles, Kaveesha has developed skills in program evaluation, mixed methods research methodologies, data analysis, reporting writing, project management, and stakeholder engagement.
Kaveesha has a Bachelor of Science and a Master of Science, specialising in cancer epigenetics from the University of Auckland.
