Hugh joined HMA in 2024, bringing a diverse range of skills in economic and data analysis, research, finance, valuation, and communication.
Hugh completed a double degree in Commerce and Biomedicine, majoring in Financial Management at LaTrobe University, Melbourne. Through Hugh’s tertiary studies, he has developed a range of financial models that draw on a variety of valuation approaches. Hugh’s demonstration of strong analytical capability and a disciplined, evidence-based approach to problem-solving led him to be selected by the Head of Finance and Economics Department at La Trobe University to undertake the National CFA Institute of Research Challenge on behalf of the university. Through participating in the challenge, Hugh further developed his financial valuation skills and reporting at an industry-level standard.
