Dan’s extensive 20-year career in the Australian health sector spans primary and acute care, both private and public entities, and involves working with multiple jurisdictions and levels of government and their agencies. His strategic advisory role to the government showcases his ability to navigate complex stakeholder landscapes to achieve significant outcomes, underpinned by a commitment to data-driven, place-based policy development.

Dan’s global connections are instrumental in sourcing innovative solutions. His comprehensive education and experience equip him to support system leaders in delivering complex projects and managing uncertainty in data inputs regarding costing studies and financial models. Dan’s experience includes delivering some of Australia’s first costing studies and leading several Australian first public reports. Given his clinical, policy and financial experience, Dan has supported several entities in enhancing performance, negotiating transformative roadmaps for better service delivery and outcomes, all while managing the financial and economic aspects of the healthcare system.
