HMA partnered with Kris Battye Consulting (KBC) Australia to determine the feasibility of and identify the best approaches to expanding dental and oral health training into more rural and remote locations in Australia. The project focused on assessing the strengths and limitations of current strategies used by universities to conduct student placements in rural and remote areas using funding from the Rural Health Multidisciplinary Training (RMHT) program.
