Health service strategy – Fire Rescue Victoria (FRV)

FRV was established in July 2020 to bring all Metropolitan Firefighters, career CFA firefighters and support personnel together under one united organisation. HMA was contracted by FRV to work with the organisation’s Health, Safety and Wellbeing leadership to design a roadmap and action plan to support implementation of a new health strategy for all employees. Key tasks included:

  • Conducting a series of workshops with FRV Health, Safety and Wellbeing leadership to develop a new health strategy and model of care
  • Preparation of a roadmap to showcase how the new FRV health strategy would work in practice throughout the lifecycle of career firefighter or FRV support personnel
  • Design of a presentation for FRV leadership outlining:
    • the need for a new health service strategy
    • the new strategy and model of care, and
    • resourcing requirements and timelines for implementation

This project commenced in September 2021 and was completed by October 2021.
